That's a bit convoluted. Wouldn't it be a little more straight forward to
say that my "right-wing" attitude makes me a stereotypical American.

Or are you trying to say that my claim that you like stereotyping
American's, is hollow because I have proven to you that I fit the
stereotype? Of course that's a bit silly because it's already presumed by
you that since I'm an American, I'm deserving of being stereotyped.
Otherwise there would be no point in stereotyping American's. So the end
result is that you believe that people who are stereotyped have no
legitimate claim to refute being stereotyped. Which is of course consistant
with a person's rationale for stereotyping anyway.
