Re: action shots with a tripod & monopod ?

I've never used a tripod for motorsports, too immobile, and I've never felt
the need for that much stability. Besides, it seems I always find that one
spot where a great deal of drama takes place, which in turn draws a small
army of other shooters, or I'm drawn to the crowd because they are in the
best spot, and a tripod would get tangled up. Imagine if all guys at a race
track were using tripods. Lord, what a tangle...
