I agree. There is no point forcing democracy on people. I used to
think that of course all the world wants to have free election etc..
but it is not true. And like you said, even democracy can be used in
twisted way, giving people the right to vote does not mean that they'd
vote well or wisely. Hitler was democratically elected.

I believe in democracy, well, if Muslims do not want it maybe we all
should just let them be, as long as they do not wage war on us. If
they want genocides and mass graves a la Saddam Hussein, then I guess
there is nothing we can do. But honestly, no matter if the Western
world would stop forcing democracy on them, they would still dislike
us. Many of them live in West and feel dissatisfied. There is always a
reason. If there is nothing else, then there is always Israel vs.
Palestinians conflict and it can be used again the West. I'm
depressed.
