A good photographer learns mostly on his/her own whether that be film or
digital. Digital is so close to film that it shakes me up when I here
others tell how different it is. The electronics and paperless photo taking
is different but both cameras must be set and aimed properly to make a good
reproduction of the scene you are viewing, it is all in how you perceive the
picture should look like.
I am only two years, approximately, into digital and around fourty in film.
I was and still am good because I get up in the morning at six and shoot
someday until sundown to take scenery pictures, all that work to get that
one in a thousand good sunrise/sunset and it proves one thing accidents do
happen. But it is that one picture that you show your friends and from that
point on they think all your pictures are perfect, but don't tell them
otherwise.
If you take that course you will probably find out, too late, that you lost
your money because people on this group and your friend could have or
probably already have told you the same thing for free.
Good luck in your endeavours, and remember, good photographers are artists
just as well as the water and oil colour painter is.
