A good DSLR camera does not have any shutter lag, and it can fire off a lot of
frames per second. If you go to a professional sporting event, like football or
soccer, you will see lines of professional photographers on the sidelines, and
they will be armed with any number of good pro-level DSLR cameras with long
lenses.
